Lihwern Tan: Dinner with Family Friend. Alright Mate. Yeah.

Yesterday my whole family headed down to KL to have an expensive chinese dinner. Why so sudden? Cause my dad friend, Uncle Dino and the whole family came down to KL for a stop by trip just to see us and head over to Phuket later. Apparently, Uncle Dino and my dad go a long way back. Its so long till that they met and became good buddies before they even got married.

Clearly, I remember how Uncle Dino tracked my dad. Through my blog. Yes, this blog. He google-ed my dad’s name and my blog link appear. So he left a comment at the cbox. If you’re that bored and nothing to do, you can even click the see previously at the cbox there. Its there. I kid you not. I got a shock out of my life when he wrote my dad and uncle’s name. Hahaha. He’s a nice guy.

Not to mention, I clearly remember when I was four, My dad, mum and I visited Melbourne and visited them. I have pictures with me thats why I still manage to remember it. 13 years ago and I finally get to meet Sarah again. It was quite a excited feeling. Haha. Sarah 16, Elissa 14, and Matthew 9 are really nice kids :D Auntie Rose too ! Super bubbly ! :)

So, we head off to Marco Polo Restaurant just right opposite their hotel that they stayed in. Hotel Istana at KL :) Mum friend recommended this place as is the nearest to the hotel. Sadly, Sarah, the eldest daughter is vegetarian so we ordered mostly vegetables. EXPENSIVE VEGETABLES T___T

Dory Fish with pomelo bits with a tinge of orangey tangy sauce.

There’s 2 more dishes, Hong Kong green vegetables which cost like RM80 D: and another dish is the kuey teow kind. the soup watery kind. Omg. I’m bad at naming food dish. The food wasn't to say really that awesome fantastic foodgasm. It was better than normal but not mouth watering.

Dad and Uncle Dino fight for the bill till the bill torn. LOL! Then, they fight for paying with credit card next. Super funny scene. HAHAHAHAHA. Bill was around RM630. Mummykins say typical chinese dinner la. expensive expensive one. Make me wanna earn more money.

Walk down round KL to bring them to see KL life. They were so shock to see so many people up around 10 something at night cause at Australia, shops closed down at 5,6pm. Hahaha. Talked to them more about life. And after awhile, we’re were warmed up with each other. It was pretty cool :)

Soon, we have to leave cause its still a schooling night and they are leaving to Phuket the next day. Sigh. Just when things were about to get better. Definitely must go to visit them in Melbourne cause according to Uncle Dino they have a huge ass theater room which can allocate 3o ppl and have XBOX 360, PS3 and Wii and anything you name it !
